ArkoMIS is a Management Information System that helps Arkomat managers to administer processes like  human resources, production management, quality management, material management, accounting, product delivery, training, etc. ArkoMIS has been working in Arkomat since 2001. The production records counting over 1.5 million have been a robust supporting background for the production operations and decision taking processes. ArkoMIS is highly responsive to multi-user tasks running on Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

ArkoMIS has been implemented in two more companies that also produce wire harnesses in Bulgaria. The implementation named AteMIS has been working in Ates EOOD since 2003. Zenon EOOD has been using another implementation named ZenoMIS since 2009. Both of the installations have been modified slightly according to the differences in company structures.

ArkoMIS has the following modules :

  • Human Resources : The HR module is used to handle all the personnel-related information, payroll management, training management. The module is also integrated with a personnel time attendance system. Over 50 different reports on identity, attendance and payroll data.
  • Production Management : The production management module handles the most important processes. Hundreds of employees' working cards are entered into ArkoMIS every shift. This data is the base of the performance control reports. Thus the production manager can see the effieciency of every worker, product, product group, shift, time period, process etc.
  • Premium Calculation : This module creates the biggest value in ArkoMIS. Especially in production environments where labor work is intensive, it is necessary to reward those workers who work more efficiently, carefully and consistently than the others. The premium calculation module evaluates workers by their performance in production, quality, attendance, regularity and experience. As soon as the module started to produce fair results, the efficiency in Arkomat jumped around 10%.
  • Quality Management : Like the working cards, the quality control cards are also entered every sihft to the system producing the necessary records to track the progress of the production in quality measures by teams, products, product groups, shift etc.
  • Material Management : This is a simple module used to receive the dispatched materials from the customer. The materials are scanned with barcode readers and compared with the delivery document. As the materials are retrieved to the production, they are scanned again to create the necessary records for SAP.
  • Accounting : This module is used to handle the accounting operations. The bank and customer accounts can be tracked and monthly expenses and revenues can be observed.
  • Product Delivery : By using this module, the finished products are delivered with a dispatch note. The upper management thus can observe daily dispatches.
